Deep Fear – How to Overcome It

I often get asked: how do you deal with fear? Especially the kind that creeps in whenever you’re thinking about something, or that deep fear that takes hold when you reflect on your future. Fear primarily stems from the awareness that we can't change things, the feeling of not having the means to alter the course of events, or the sense of being unprepared when faced with situations, even when we do have the tools, but don't feel capable of using them effectively.
Simply accepting fear in your life isn’t the way to handle it. Knowing that everyone is afraid of something doesn’t make us feel any better, nor does it help us overcome our struggles. So, the answer isn’t in merely embracing fear with a positive mindset, it’s about understanding why we fear something in the first place. Until we master the Art of Psychicism, we can find ourselves afraid of countless things. Everything can seem overwhelming, especially when thinking about the future, because we have no idea what awaits us, let alone how to prevent or handle potential problems. Naturally, this makes us feel powerless. However, there is a way to regain control over these fears, particularly those that concern us directly. In many cases, it’s even possible to influence events that involve other people. For instance, we can protect our loved ones from many negative situations, ranging from accidents to various forms of misfortune. But first and foremost, we must focus on ourselves, on learning how to anticipate and shape the events ahead of us. The key? Practice.
Overcoming fear isn’t about thinking positively or resigning ourselves to it as if it were an inescapable part of who we are. That would only mean submitting to the suffering it causes. Fear brings immense stress and anxiety, it can even lead to depression. Something so damaging can’t simply be embraced with a positive mindset. Instead, we need to work through it, to understand where it comes from. That means reflecting on what, at its core, is truly frightening to us. By analyzing our fears, we start to see patterns, common threads that link them all together. We might initially think we have too many fears to even list them, but if we try, we’ll notice something interesting: maybe our biggest fear is losing our child, followed by the fear of losing our partner, then the fear of losing a parent… and so on. But in reality, all these seemingly different fears boil down to one: the fear of losing the people we love.
There are, of course, certain things we can’t prevent forever, like the inevitability of death. But that doesn’t mean we can’t delay it, slow the progression of an illness (or even heal it completely), and prevent things from happening too soon. The Psychic Arts allow us to do just that. We may not be able to stop death itself, but we can stop it from arriving prematurely. That said, influencing another person’s fate is a much more complex matter. Still, that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
The most common fears revolve around the future, our goals, our dreams, and whether we will succeed. These fears can disappear entirely once we begin to Psychically Practice for our own future. That’s because fear is rooted in uncertainty, in not knowing what lies ahead or what actions to take. But the moment you gain clarity and know exactly what you need to do, fear loses its grip.
